Mission statement

The sharing of excellence and advancement of education of oncologists involved in the clinical care of patients with urological cancers in order to improve the identification, diagnosis and treatment outcomes of disease.


The British Uro-oncology Group (BUG) was formed in 2004 to meet the needs of clinical and medical oncologists specialising in the field of urology. As the only dedicated professional association for uro-oncologists its overriding aim is to provide a networking and support forum for discussion and exchange of research and policy ideas.

7th BUG Annual Meeting September 2010

This year’s BUG Annual Meeting will be taking place 24th-25th September 2010 at The St John’s Hotel, 651 Warwick Road, Solihull, Birmingham, B91 1AT

Call for Registrar Abstracts
Deadline: 31st May 2010
A defined number of abstracts will be accepted for poster display during the Annual Meeting and a limited number of these will also be selected for oral presentation as part of the Saturday morning session.
