Welcome to the website of the British Uro-oncology Group (BUG).
The British Uro-oncology Group (BUG) was formed in 2004 to meet the needs of clinical and medical oncologists specialising in the field of urology. As the only dedicated professional association for uro-oncologists its overriding aim is to provide a networking and support forum for discussion and exchange of research and policy ideas.
Series of Regional Meetings: April and May 2012
Significant advances in the diagnosis, assessment and management of advanced prostate cancer bring with them new challenges. BUG, in partnership with Macmillan, is continuing its commitment to look at how improvements and developments in this field are sure to translate into tangible improvements in patient care.
The Advanced Prostate Cancer – Advancing Patient Care Meeting Series aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for discussing improved collaboration between primary, community and secondary healthcare professionals and managers in the care of people with advanced prostate cancer.
Through a mix of plenary presentations and group work, the programme will explore different perspectives of the issues and challenges being faced in the current environment of advanced prostate cancer care.
